Limited Practice Board
The Limited Practice Board is responsible for developing and recommending to the Washington Supreme Court general policy for the limited practice officer (LPO) license. The LPO license authorizes persons to select, prepare and complete legal documents for closing real estate and personal property transactions. The Limited Practice Board is responsible for the LPO examination, develops and approves forms for use by limited practice officers, and plays a role in the LPO discipline system.
