Ambassador Events

Washington’s legal community stands together to commit to the promise of the rule of law in a constitutional democracy. The same laws apply to everyone, and everyone is treated equally under the law; government power is bound by law; and human rights are guaranteed to all. This is the promise of the rule of law, and that is what we strive for in Washington state.

The main event for each Law Day ceremony is a local judge readministering the professional oath to local lawyers, emphasizing our duty and honor to uphold the Constitution. The ceremony should be relatively short — with plenty of time to connect with colleagues before and after.
