Diversity Employment Expo for Washington Future Legal Professionals

The Diversity Employment Expo, previously known as the Washington Law Student Employment Fair, is a partnership across Washington's affinity bar associations, including Latino/a Bar Association of Washington, Loren Miller Bar Association, Korean-American Bar Association of Washington, and Filipino Lawyers of Washington, and the Joint Minority Mentorship Program.
The Diversity Employment Expo aims to support law students, APR 6, and LLM students that may face heightened barriers to early career success. This includes, but is not limited to, students from communities that are underrepresented or marginalized in the legal profession; first-generation college graduates (defined as having had no parent/guardian with a bachelor degree); students with experiences of poverty or economic hardship; students who are caregivers; and/or international students. Any future legal professional (APR 6, LLM, law student) is welcome to participate.
Guided by the authority of the Washington Supreme Court as outlined in General Rule 12.2, which includes the Bar Association’s purpose to "promote diversity and equality in the courts and the legal profession and promote an effective legal system accessible to all," the WSBA is pleased to host this event for the third time.  
The event is largely funded by private donations to the Washington State Bar Foundation and administered by the WSBA. Legal employers can join our networking tabling event and sponsor the event here. We encourage legal professionals of all backgrounds to participate as day-of volunteers!
