Brian Anderson | President
Brian Anderson was appointed as Treasurer in 2023 and President in 2024. Brian is a partner at Anderson Law, a Tri-Cities personal injury law firm. Prior to entering the legal profession, he worked as an accountant for a large oil company and
brings those talents to bear in his current position. As a graduate of both the University of Houston Law Center and Brigham Young University, as well as being a third-generation Eastern Washingtonian, Brian knows the ins and outs of being a devoted
Cougar fan. Brian enjoys increasing support for local non-profit organizations of all kinds, from the Benton Franklin Legal Aid Society to the Union Gospel Mission, and hopes to do the same for the Powerful Communities grant program. In his spare time, you might
find Brian climbing tall mountains, racing in Ironman triathlons, or encouraging one of his five children to do the same.
Rajeev D. Majumdar | Vice President
Rajeev Majumdar is a former President of the WSBA and the Managing Partner at Whatcom Law Group, PS. He serves as the Chief Appellate Court Judge for the Nooksack Tribe and as the Hearing Examiner for Island and Whatcom Counties,
as well as other jurisdictions. He also maintains a private practice where he focuses on transactional work, business formations, and serving as general counsel for businesses. He also serves as the Prosecutor for the City of Blaine and as the Special
Prosecutor for the City of Bellingham's Mental Health Diversion Court. He speaks regularly on issues of diversity and civil legal aid in the legal profession, and the WSBA awarded him a Local Hero Award for his work serving the indigent. He serves
on the WSBA's Long Range Planning Committee, and as a Delegate to the ABA House of Delegates. Rajeev also serves on the Boards of the Endowment for Equal Justice, the Mount Baker Foundation, and the Washington Leadership Institute. When not working,
or troublemaking, he loves spending time in the great outdoors with his wife and his daughters.
Tracy S. Flood | Treasurer
Tracy Flood is from the Windy City and came to Washington while serving in the U.S. Navy. She graduated from the University of Washington with two BA degrees. After working for the State of Washington, she attended Seattle University
School of Law, graduating in 1999. Tracy served as President-Elect of the Kitsap County YWCA, President of the Kitsap County Chapter of Washington Women Lawyers, President of the Pierce County Minority Bar Association and Chair of its Civil Rights
Committee. Tracy is a graduate of the Washington State Bar Association's Leadership Institute Inaugural class. As a solo practitioner for seven years, Tracy practiced in Kitsap, Mason and Pierce Counties in criminal and family law. Tracy worked for
the Office of Administrative Hearings in Olympia as Pro Tem Judge and for Kitsap County as a Pro Tem Judge in District Court. Tracy currently works as an attorney and is President of the NAACP Unit 1134 Bremerton. Tracy served three years on the Washington
State Bar Association's Board of Governors. She has received recognition as a Rising Star, Madison's Who's Who and Seattle University School of Law Black Law Students Award, Washington Women Lawyers 2013 President's Award and the Loren Miller Bar
Association's Social Justice Award. In November of 2021, Tracy was the first Black woman to be elected in Kitsap County and as the City of Bremerton Municipal Court Judge.
Terra Nevitt | Secretary
Terra Nevitt is the Executive Director of the Washington State Bar Association and has served in that role since April 2019. She joined the Bar in 2014 to work with the Washington State Access to Justice Board and to provide
leadership in coordinating the state's network of civil legal aid providers to address the persistent access to justice gap for low-income Washingtonians. During her time in that role, she worked with 19 independent legal aid organizations to facilitate
the development of a strategic plan for the coordinated delivery of civil legal aid in Washington State. Terra also served as the Director of Advancement and Chief Development Officer before stepping into the role of Executive Director. Prior to joining
WSBA, Terra was the Executive Director of LAW Advocates, a civil legal aid organization in Bellingham, worked with ECPAT International in Bangkok, Thailand, and worked as an immigration attorney and program director for Catholic Community Services
in Western Washington. Terra has served on several boards focused on issues of diversity, leadership development, and access to justice and is currently serving on the Washington State Bar Licensure Task Force. She is a graduate of the University
of Washington and the George Washington University School of Law.
Sunitha Anjilvel | WSBA Immediate Past President
Sunitha Anjilvel served
as the 2024-2025 WSBA
president. She joined the
Board of Governors as
District 1 governor in 2019,
was re-elected to the Board
in 2021, and was elected
by the Board as president-elect in 2023. She has
practiced family law and
estate planning in the Pacific
Northwest since 2008.
Since her first admission to
practice law in 1990, Anjilvel
has practiced in a variety of
courts in Canada, California,
and Washington in family
law, criminal law, and civil
litigation. In 2005, she served
as director of a bipartisan
campaign to support a
redistricting reform initiative
on California’s statewide
ballot. She is committed to
social justice and served as
chair and member of the
WSBA Diversity, Equity &
Inclusion Council for three
years running, and served
on the board of Domestic
Relations Attorneys of
Washington (DRAW).
Anjilvel has also volunteered
for the Kinship Care Project
and Northwest Immigrant
Rights Project. She has a B.A.
from McGill University and
a J.D. from Dalhousie Law
School. She is licensed to
practice law in Washington
and California.
Jordan Couch | WSBA Governor At-Large
Jordan Couch was first elected to the Board of Governors in 2021 and re-elected
in 2024 to represent new and young lawyers in an at-large position. Couch is a partner at Palace Law, practicing workers' compensation and personal injury. In his spare time, he is an avid outdoorsman — probably stemming from his childhood spent
between an island in Alaska and the Bighorn River valley in Montana. Prior to joining the Board of Governors, Couch served as a trustee for the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association, chair of the Access to Justice Board's Technology Committee, and
chair of the Washington Young Lawyers Committee, and has held various leadership roles on the Solo and Small Practice Section's Executive Committee. Couch is passionate about solving access to justice by helping lawyers build better, more client-centric
practices, and never gets tired of talking about how to improve our profession (or fishing).

Col. Kristine D. Kuenzli
Col. Kristine D. Kuenzli is the Senior IMA to Staff Judge Advocate, Headquarters Air Mobility Command (AMC), Scott AFB, Illinois. Colonel Kuenzli supports AMC's mission to provide rapid, global mobility and sustainment for America's armed forces. The Office of the Staff Judge Advocate serves as the principal advisor to the AMC Commander and staff on all legal issues involving the operational and international law, military justice, and civil law domains for more than 110,000 active duty, civilians, Air Reserve Component military and Air National Guard. Col Kuenzli received her commission into active duty through the Direct Appointment Program in 1997 after earning her degree from Gonzaga University School of Law in 1996. She entered the Air Force Reserve in June 2001. Col Kuenzli is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of Washington and the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.
Kristina Larry | WSBA Governor, District 8
Kristina Larry is on the WSBA Board of Governors representing the 8th District. She is a true solo with her firm Sassy Litigations where she practices trademark, small business, cybersecurity, and data privacy law. She also
created the legal sub brands The Prenup Princess and The Seattle Wedding Lawyer. In addition to running her firm, Larry is a staff attorney and lecturer at the University of Washington School of Law. For 10 years she was a volunteer with the King
County Bar Association's Housing Justice Project. From 2015 to 2019, she served as a trustee of the Washington State Bar Foundation and from 2019 to 2021, she served as president. She also served on the executive committee of the WSBA Solo and Small
Practice Section for eight years and was a member of the Practice of Law Board. In 2018 she was named as one of the 40 Under 40 by South Sound Business magazine. Kristina completed her undergraduate work at the University of Wyoming and earned her
J.D. at the HBCU Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University. Additionally, Larry has earned certificates in the area of cybersecurity, data privacy, and blockchain technology.
Maya Manus
Maya Manus is a staff attorney at the Benefits Law Center, a civil legal aid organization that provides Social Security advocacy for people with disabilities who are homeless or low-income. Maya has been a Trustee since she was a law student
at the Seattle University. She credits the time on the board and learning about the Powerful Communities grant as to why she sought a job in civil legal aid in the first place. Outside of being an attorney, you can find Maya either on a hike,
at a concert, or enjoying our beloved Seattle sports teams.
Nam Nguyen | WSBA Treasure, Governor, District 10
Nam Nguyen was elected to the Board of Governors in 2022. He re-elected in September 2025. Nam is an assistant
attorney general in the Revenue and Finance Division in Tumwater. Prior to the Attorney General’s Office, Nguyen worked in private practice in Bellevue and Houston, Texas. Immediately after law school, he volunteered in Bayou La Batre, Alabama,
for AmeriCorp’s BP oil spill relief program. Aside from the WSBA, Nguyen serves on the board for the Family Support Center, a nonprofit social service organization serving homeless families in the Olympia area, and he is the chair of the Commission
on Asian Pacific American Affairs. Nguyen was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and grew up in the South Seattle area. He graduated from the University of Washington and Boston University School of Law, and he has a master’s degree in foreign policy
from the University of Michigan. Nguyen resides in Tumwater and enjoys running, reading, cooking, and spending time with his dog, Dog Vader.
Carolyn Powers
Carolyn Powers is a J.D. student at Gonzaga University School of Law anticipating graduation in May 2025. Prior to attending law school, Carolyn worked in business management, specializing in people operations and human resources. She holds SHRM-SCP
credentials and has been a member of SHRM since 2018. Throughout her career in human resource management, Carolyn championed Diversity, Equity & Inclusion efforts and worked to connect small businesses with community partners to promote more diverse
workplaces. Carolyn served as a business mentor for Project Search, an organization whose mission is preparing young people with significant disabilities for success in competitive integrated employment. Carolyn continued serving the local community
as a student at Gonzaga Law as a volunteer case manager for the Moderate Means Program, which is supported and partially funded by the Washington State Bar Foundation.
Lucretia Robertson
Lucretia Robertson is the principal and founder
of Clarity Partnerships, a black-owned, women-led, micro-consultancy focused management, human resource, and organizational wellness and the founder of Women Who Rise, a nonprofit dedicated to elevating women-powered leadership. Lucretia serves on
various committee and boards including Kitsap Community Resource and Leadership Kitsap. She also served as an Equity Advisory Committee Member for the Puget Sound Regional Council and briefly served on the board for the Music Discovery Center. Lucretia
holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership and Human Resource Management (Brandman University) and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Nonprofit Management (University of Washington, Tacoma). She is also a certified Senior Professional
in Human Resources (HR Certification Institute) and a Senior Certified Professional (Society for Human Resource Management).
Deborah Wechselblatt
Deb Wechselblatt is a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney at the Clark County Prosecuting Attorney's Office in Vancouver, Washington. Prior to law school, Deb was a community planner at the City of Lake Oswego and an environmental advocate working for
non-profits in Portland, Oregon. Deb was a 2019 Washington Leadership Institute Fellow and is committed to promoting diversity in the legal profession and access to justice through their volunteer activities. Deb also serves on the boards of the
QLaw Association of Washington and the YWCA of Clark County. Outside the practice of law, Deb enjoys hiking, cycling, gardening, birding, and chasing their kids around.
