The Preadmission Education Program (PREP) is a prerequisite course to applying for licensure in Washington state. By Supreme Court rule, you must complete four hours of the PREP course prior to your admission to practice law. PREP is offered as a free series of online videos available to view on demand.
Preadmission Online Videos
You can accelerate your success with practical information by completing the PREP course online. There are seven modules covering a range of topics helpful to the new practitioner in Washington state. Please select which topics may be most interesting or relevant as you choose four hours of content. Some modules have supplemental materials for your reference.
To complete the online course:
- Watch four hours of the online course to complete the admissions requirement. You are not required to watch all seven modules.
- Enter certification that you have completed this requirement in your online admissions account.
