In July 2025, the WSBA Board of Governors approved the establishment of the WSBA Oath Review and Drafting Task Force.
In July 2025, the WSBA Board of Governors approved the establishment of the WSBA Oath Review & Drafting Task Force. This Task Force was established to evaluate whether WSBA should suggest the Washington Supreme Court amend Washington’s APR 5 oaths for legal professionals and, if so, prepare draft amendments for consideration.
First Meeting
To be scheduled fall 2025.

If you are interested in serving on this Task Force, please send a statement of interest and resume to barleaders@wsba.org by 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8.
All applications will be reviewed and selected individuals will be appointed by WSBA President, Sunitha Anjilvel with approval from the WSBA Board of Governors.
