Oath Review & Drafting Task Force
In July 2025, the WSBA Board of Governors approved the establishment of the WSBA Oath Review & Drafting Task Force to evaluate whether WSBA should suggest the Washington Supreme Court amend Washington’s APR 5 oaths for legal professionals and, if so, prepare draft amendments for consideration.

If you are interested in serving on this Task Force, please send a statement of interest and résumé to barleaders@wsba.org by 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8.
All applications will be reviewed and selected individuals will be appointed by WSBA President, Sunitha Anjilvel with approval from the WSBA Board of Governors.
