Every year, the Liquor, Cannabis & Psychedelics (LCP) Law Section holds elections for open seats on its executive committee. On this page you will find information about the election process, how to run for an executive committee position, and other helpful info.

Section Executive Committee Elections

The Section is conducting elections for open positions on the executive committee.

Voting is schedule for June 10-24, 2024.

Candidate Information, Open Positions, and Terms

For more information about the Section and its executive committee, please review the Section's bylaws. Candidates are listed in alphabetical order by position.

Chair-Elect: two-year position beginning Oct. 1, 2024, and ending Sept. 30, 2026.

Candidate: Fabiola Jimenez

Secretary: two-year position beginning Oct. 1, 2024, and ending Sept. 30, 2026.

Candidate: Peter Becker

At-Large Member (six positions open): two-year position beginning Oct. 1, 2024, and ending Sept. 30, 2026.

Candidate 3: Emmelyn Hart

Candidate 4: Kimberly Kwan

Candidate 5: Ken Zigler

NOTE - The following positions received no applicants:
Treasurer (2-year term: Oct. 1, 2024–Sept. 30, 2026)
Pursuant to WSBA and section's bylaws, the Liquor, Cannabis, and Psychedelics Law Section Executive Committee may appoint an individual to fill any vacant positions on an interim basis.
