Mindful Lawyers Welcome

Mindfulness is a valuable tool for well-being, including in the practice of law. While our weekly meditation group is no longer active, in the future we look forward to hosting a new Mindfulness at Your Desk meditation group online. In the mean time consider these resources:

Greg Wolk, an expert meditation teacher, has been a valued ally of our program and led our Mediation at Your Desk group. He enjoys teaching lawyers to meditate and can be reached at greg@rekhiwolk.com.Cloud Mountain, located in Castle Rock, WA is an excellent retreat for those looking for a deepening of their meditation training.

In Seattle, the Seattle Insight Meditation Society (SIMS) has an active program of events and sanghas to join. Shambhala Seattle hosts several workshops and open meditation hours.

In Spokane, the Zen Center of Spokane offers weekly meditation hours as well as retreats.

The excellent website Mindfulness Northwest has a vast list of referrals to meditation retreats, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction groups, and other trainings. These resources are organized for the following cities: Seattle, Tacoma, Everett, Bellingham, Eastside, Wenatchee and Anacortes.

There are many excellent guided meditation apps. Please consider Headspace.
