The Unbar Alcoholics Anonymous Group

The Unbar is the only attorneys AA group in Washington state and has been meeting together since 1986. This supportive group of attorneys has helped thousands of attorneys in recovery.

The Unbar does not endorse or oppose the WSBA, and is not affiliated with or associated with the WSBA or any other organization or institution in any way. Your anonymity is handled with the utmost care by members of the group. The Unbar is a fellowship of people in the legal profession who share their experience and resources with other legal professionals interested in learning more about the disease of substance abuse/alcoholism and obtaining peer support in recovery.

The Unbar meets once a week via Zoom online video conferencing at 12:30–1:30 p.m. Wednesdays. If you have questions about the group or would like the Zoom credentials to join a meeting, please contact unbarwa@gmail.com.
