Limited License Legal Technician Board
The Limited License Legal Technician Board derives its authority from the Washington Supreme Court under Rule 28 of the Washington Supreme Court Admission and Practice Rules and was established to oversee the LLLT program. APR 28 authorized a new level of licensed legal professionals who meet certain educational requirements to advise and assist clients in family law.
On June 4, 2020, the Washington Supreme Court decided to sunset the LLLT program and no new LLLTs are being licensed at this time.
