Chair-Elect: one-year position beginning Oct. 1, 2024, and ending Sept. 30, 2025
Secretary/Treasurer: one-year position beginning Oct. 1, 2024, and ending Sept. 30, 2025
At-Large Member: three-year position beginning Oct. 1, 2024, and ending Sept. 30, 2027
Communications Committee Chair: one-year position beginning Oct. 1, 2024, and ending Sept. 30, 2025

How to Apply
The election for the International Practice Section Executive Committee begins with the posting of open positions on the Section's Election webpage, and the opening of the Application Portal.

Instructions to Ensure You Receive Your Ballot
Instructions for ensuring you receive your ballot for the International Practice Section Executive Committee election will be posted here in May 2025.
Election Timeline
Interested in running for a position on the International Practice Section Executive Committee? Here’s some dates you should know about.
- March – Open positions on the Executive Committee are posted on the Section’s Elections page.
- March – Application Portal for candidates opens.
- April/May – Application Portal closes and the Section’s Nominating Committee submits names for the ballot.
- June – Voting begins (approx. two weeks).
- June – Voting closes.
- July – The Section’s Nominating Committee reaches out to winners of the election.
- July – Results are posted on the Section’s Elections page.
Executive Committee Roles
The International Practice Section's bylaws currently list the following required executive committee positions. Open positions will be listed above in the Election Information section at the beginning of election season.
- Chair
- Chair-Elect
- Immediate Past Chair
- Secretary/Treasurer
- Communications Committee Chair
- At least six (6) At-Large Members
