This program offers an overview of ethics rules and discipline cases related to billing and client communication, as well as best practices for documenting your dealings with clients and prospective clients. Discussion will include fee agreements, non-rep and disengagement letters, billing statements, and when you can ethically withdraw funds from the IOLTA. Specifically, faculty will examine RPC 1.4, 1.5, 1.15A, 1.15B, 1.16, and 1.18.
