This Mini-CLE is an opportunity to go beyond our biases and engage with others who may think differently than us around the following topics:
- Social Identity
- The Politics of Immigration
- Talking Politics (Free Speech)
- Power in Relationships (Status and Privilege)
- Peace-building in USA (Ideological Divides)
The format will be interactive and in the style of self-facilitated Living Room Conversations, allowing participants to share from experience, acknowledging every person’s uniqueness, while seeking to understand one another. The discussion will be curated by culture and inclusion strategist and facilitator Samara Hakim, founder of The Culture Factor, LLC. This CLE will provide practitioners tools to transform their communication approach with colleagues and clients. The program is two hours long and eligible 1.5 CLE credits.
