Are you interested in intellectual property (or “IP”) but didn’t have the time to take IP courses in law school? Do you constantly read about patent, copyright, and trademark cases involving some of the biggest companies around, but don’t really understand what all the fuss is about? Have you ever asked yourself, “That’s a great idea; I should get a patent on that,” but didn’t know where to start? If so, then this CLE is for you! Come learn about IP fundamentals from experienced local lawyers. They’ll explain the core concepts underlying IP law and also give you a primer on hot-topic IP issues. Lunch is hosted by the IP Section and is included in your tuition. And you’ll get ethics CLE credits if you attend!
