Like being asked to bake a cake without a recipe, many attorneys preparing for trial have been given the vague advice to ‘tell the jury a story.’ The issue is that we’re rarely told what makes a story compelling, why storytelling is crucial, and how it connects to testimony and evidence. The goal of this session is to shed light on these topics, exploring the concepts and strategies that successful trial attorneys use to craft persuasive narratives in court.
Part one of this series, Discovery & Evidence Series: Deposition Tips & Ethics, takes place on Thursday, December 5, 2024.
