The New York State Permanent Commission on Access to Justice, in partnership with Fordham University School of Law, is pleased to invite you to the 2024 Law School Conference — Let’s Talk AI and A2J: How Law Schools, Civil Legal Services, and the Courts Together Can Harness Technology to Address the Justice Gap, on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 1–5 p.m. EST (10 a.m.–2 p.m. PST) via Zoom.
This free virtual conference will bring together representatives from New York’s law schools, civil legal services organizations, the courts, community organizations and other partners to discuss how generative AI can be used to expand access to justice. The program will include an opening plenary on the impact of AI on the legal profession and law schools, a rapid-fire tech session that will showcase exciting examples of AI tools, and four concurrent sessions to delve deeper into the power of AI and how it can be used to expand access to justice.
