CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION
Sept. 28, 2021
In Summer 2020, our Washington Supreme Court called on the legal community to address the racial injustice that has for so long and continues to plague our country. Heeding the Court's call to action, we are offering a series of Legal Lunchbox CLEs focused on racial injustice.
March 2020 began the conversation by giving an overview of structural racism in the law and how it impacts various client communities. June 2020 focused on how individuals can practice relationship building and the shifting of power to begin to combat systemic racism.
This September, we will focus on the different dimensions of equity work and how they intersect, how to combat racial bias at organizations and having more cultural humility amongst organization leaders, and centering client communities while making organizational change.
While this is the last Legal Lunchbox in this series, our goal is to give attendees the tools to continue the work within their organizations.
