This course will help lawyers, particularly those in solo, small, or medium sized firms who may not have a dedicated information technology (IT) person on staff, 1) begin to understand the nature of cybersecurity threats including advanced and persistent threats (APT); 2) understand how to begin to investigate, detect, and respond to an incident; and 3) begin the correct legal response to an incident. They will also learn how to find and access additional resources and assistance.
