A 2014 Washington law allows an opportunity for release on parole for individuals who were charged, convicted and sentenced as if they were adults for crimes they committed before the age of 18. This seminar will provide background on this law, as well as useful strategies for effective advocacy for these individuals as they attempt to secure release and to prosper after incarceration.
