Part 2 of this webinar series will focus on affordable housing, including legal considerations when developing affordable housing and case studies of local governments that have succeeded in developing more housing options for lower income populations. This webinar will explore the affordable housing goals and incentives within the Growth Management Act, as well as look at the constitutional and statutory framework for promoting affordable housing in Washington State. Webinar participants will hear about specific planning efforts by the cities of Ellensburg and Port Townsend regarding affordable housing.
