The District and Municipal Court Judges Association (DMCJA) and WSBA are pleased to offer training for attorneys interested in being judges pro tempore.
Attorneys who complete this one-and-a-half-day training will be listed as possible resources for future pro tem appointments.
The program focus on the skills necessary to become an effective judge, and includes topics on courtroom management, handling pro se litigants, diversity, working with court personnel, practice bias, and ethical conflicts for judges. The faculty is made up of judges, attorneys and court personnel.
