Consumer-Information Pamphlets

As a service to its members and the public, the Washington State Bar Association publishes a series of consumer-information pamphlets on various legal topics.

Written for the non-lawyer, these pamphlets are intended to educate citizens about their legal rights and responsibilities, answer frequently asked questions, and explain basic aspects of Washington state laws.

The information is general and not intended as legal advice or as a substitute for a lawyer's services.
