Aristotle

"The only stable state is the one in which all men are equal before the law."

Aristotle also wrote: 

• At his best, man is the noblest of all animals; separated from law and justice he is the worst.
  

• Law is order, and good law is good order.

• We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is not an act, but a habit.
