International Practice Mini-CLE: "Navigating the Italian Judicial System"

Join Alessandaro Canali, foreign law consultant, as he discusses the birth and development of western common law and civil law system, focusing on the difference between the  Italian and US judicial systems. He will specifically discuss the process and procedure as it pertains to Amanda Knox case.

Attendees at this interesting CLE will gain an understanding of:

  • The history of the western civil law system
  • A comparative overview of the Italian vs. U.S. judicial systems
  • Italian process and procedure as it applies to the Amanda Knox trial
  • Practical tips when dealing with the Italian judicial system
