Under the WSBA Bylaws, the Board of Governors authorizes standing committees to investigate matters relating to the general purposes and business of the Bar that are of a continuous and recurring nature.

The Board authorizes special committees and task forces to investigate matters relating to specific purposes and business of the Bar that are of an immediate or nonrecurring character.
