Chair Information

As the Chair or Co-chair of a seminar, you are creating an educational experience for attorneys with the WSBA-CLE team. Your expertise and experience is used to help identify the current issues in law – whether substantive law updates, ethics issues, or how to build a successful practice. Recruiting and working with the faculty to create a complete/valuable educational experience is one of the main roles of the Chair. 

Chairs are in charge of the following:

  • Collaborate with Seminar Developer to plan the seminar
  • Collaborate with Seminar Developer to develop program topics and schedule
  • Recruit faculty to speak at program
  • Assist faculty in developing presentations; assures program deadlines are met
  • Moderate the session/guest faculty on the day of the seminar
  • Optional: Speak on a particular subject
