CLE Program Chair Information

As the chair or co-chair of a seminar, you are creating an educational experience for attorneys with the WSBA-CLE team. Your expertise and experience is used to help identify the current issues in law – whether substantive law updates, ethics issues, or how to build a successful practice. Recruiting and working with the faculty to create a complete, valuable educational experience is one of the main roles of the chair. 

Chairs are in charge of the following:

  • Collaboration with education programs lead to plan the seminar and develop program topics and schedule.
  • Recruiting faculty to speak at program.
  • Assisting faculty in developing presentations to assure program deadlines are met.
  • Moderating the session and guest faculty on the day of the seminar.
  • Optional: Speaking on a particular subject.
