Admission to Practice Rule Training Program

Co-sponsored by the WSBA Legal Assistance to Military Personnel Section

The WSBA Legal Assistance to Military Personnel (LAMP) section is pleased to announce the upcoming Admission to Practice Rule (APR) 8(g) training program to certify Military Judge Advocates for limited admission to practice in Washington State Courts.This 15-credit CLE training event will cover many areas of military legal assistance practice with an emphasis on Washington State practice, procedure, and professional responsibility. Upon application, qualified active-duty Judge Advocates attending this training will be invited to a swearing-in ceremony at the Washington State Supreme Court (at a later date, TBD).

When: January 26 and 27, 2012

Where:  Naval Submarine Base Bangor
               Bangor Plaza
               Silverdale, WA 98315 (directions below)

CLE Credits: 14.0 general credits and 1.0 ethics credit

Cost: $50 for those seeking MCLE credit
           $20 for those not seeking MCLE credit

From Hwy 3 going North:
Take the exit labeled "Main Gate Bangor" and follow the road to the gate. After you are through gate, follow the road until it ends in a "T" and turn left on Trigger Ave. Follow Trigger Ave to Ohio St and turn left on to Ohio St. Follow Ohio St to the stop sign and turn left into the Bangor Plaza parking lot.
